This Event takes place in the following locations:
Sensei decides to return to Kaori and Nao-chan. After the usual confusing dialogue, Kaori tells him that she got another map and wants to go on another treasure hunt. He wonders if this map had more than a simple symbol written on in, but Kaori reveals there was nothing on the map, though Nao somehow knew exactly what that meant and drew her a picture of the treasure location, and apparently this treasure contains parts of a "machine to understand human emotions". Sensei doesn't know how to handle this weirdness, yet decides to join anyway to see what eye colors the next girl might have. Suddenly, Pareidolia appears again to mess with him, which is noticed by Nao.
Before he can get answers on how she could do that, he finds himself in the middle of the woods where Kaori thinks the treasure should be, which gives Sensei a sense of deja vu as it looks similar to the spot they went last time. Nao leaves to do something, which worries Kaori, whereas Sensei feels like nothing will happen due to her existence being an anomaly.
Kaori mentions a color machine, and when Sensei assumes that's the machine that helps her "understand human emotions", she confirms this. She further explains that colors are symbols of someone's emotions and every person has one, stating that Sensei's color was clear but has recently changed to a darker one, meaning something terrible happened to him. Kaori wonders if their kiss caused this, but he negates this, claiming his color decayed due to him neglecting himself.
Hearing this, Kaori explains how frogs can take care of themselves when it gets cold and how she got Nao one so she learns responsibility with something that could survive without her. She further explains that humans, unlike frogs, can't endure the cold and need outside help to stay warm, believing Sensei is someone who was left in the cold, which she sees as the actual reason his color changed. She isn't entirely sure, though, because the Sensei she can see is supposedly good, whereas she has no idea what the him inside him is like. He claims he has no other self inside him, but Kaori disagrees as she has another her inside herself, and while her outer self has the color green, her other self has red.
Sensei refuses to believe a word she said about colors and states he's feeling sad because he lost someone very important and can't keep the one who could help him close. Kaori isn't sure if this is true, but wants to help him however she can, especially since she can't stop thinking about him, even more so after her other self woke up, which leaves Sensei with conflicted emotions because that other self reminds him of someone.
With this, Kaori wants to find the color machine even more and decides to dig where she thinks the treasure will be, asking Sensei to find Nao in the meantime.
