CHAIN-LINK EVENT
WARNING: this Event is part of an Event Chain! You've lost all control over your own actions and must now sit back while
someone else takes the wheel. Enjoy the ride while it lasts, and hope that you did things right before taking the plunge!
The event starts with a monologue by Sensei about how people change when they have someone to look up to and how he should be a better influence on Ami so she changes into a better and more stable person.
It ends when the camping group meets up with Yuki, who has been waiting at the camping site, and Ami asks who she is, as she never interacted with her. After both exchange introductions, Sara wants to know if Yuki will stay the night, but she had no intentions to do so, especially after learning she would need to share a tent with the other women. Sara wonders if Yuki has a boyfriend she could visit for the night, and Yuki jokingly claims Sensei is her boyfriend, causing an argument in the group.
As Sensei blocks out the argument, as the topic makes him uncomfortable, and instead intends to focus on Ami for the entire duration of this trip. Unfortunately, Yuki asks for his company and Sara "kidnaps" Ami to give her the promised haircut, and neither Ami nor Sensei is able to convince Sara to delay it. Sensei wonders if Yuki needs him for something important, and while it's not important, it's something only he is supposed to hear, so he accepts and follows her.
After some time walking through the woods, Yuki tells Sensei that Sara told her about his intentions to become more of a father for Ami. He wonders if she wants to bond over them being awful parents, but she instead shows her sympathy for his situation – While his family life with Ami is better than her own with Yumi, Yuki can tell that Sensei is feeling bad for failing Ami and, as someone who has abandoned her daughter in the past, she knows how much it stings and how much regret he must feel.
He wonders if she loves her daughter, and after getting his definition of love, which is wanting to assure someone's well-being even if you have to sacrifice your own, she can't give a clear answer as she would do this for most of the people in her life due to how little time she has left. Despite this, she still provides and cares for her, which Sensei thinks is enough, though Yuki doesn't feel like it is.
After a while, the two unexpectedly come across Kaori and Nao-chan, with Yuki seemingly accepting their strange mother-daughter relationship. Kaori reveals she got another map and has traveled into the woods with Nao-chan for a treasure hunt. Yuki, not wanting any of this, leaves to relax and drink, whereas Kaori asks Sensei to wait until she finished her preparations.
Now alone, Sensei realizes he has some time to kill until he can get Ami back, and tries to figure out how he wants to spend it.
