CHAIN-LINK EVENT

Sensei joins Nao-chan at her campsite. Sensei asks if Kaori is still busy with her color machine, but Nao writes in her notebook that she apparently won some kind of prize. Sensei wants to know when she learned how to write, but when her answer is completely off, he states that her communication skills still need some work. He still decides to stay with her to prevent anyone from harming her, which confuses her, though he tells her not to worry about it.
Nao then draws a childish depiction of him, which he writes off as her being too young to draw him better, but when she follows this with a spot-on replication of a famous picture, Sensei states that she scares him, which she's weirdly proud of. He tells her he wants to know more about her so he doesn't feel on edge around her, but when Nao claims she's a normal girl, he refuses to believe it as she's only normal when compared to her guardian. He asks if she knows anything in regards to her sudden appearance after Kaori got a map with her kanji, which she doesn't, so Sensei accepts that nothing she will write down will help him. Suddenly, Nao tries to tell him something about herself, but he's unable to interpret her drawings correctly.
Nao leaves her seat and approaches Sensei, who fears that he's having another mental breakdown, and asks him to get her head patted. He is confused on why she isn't scared of him right now, but when Nao insists he pats her head, he tries to resist but ends up doing it against his will, which triggers another "blackout".
We cut to the series "What's in the Pot?", where the Plants decide to read out and comment on mean tweets about Sensei. After a while, the plants notice that Nao was transferred here a swell and try to involve her into their show, but when they read out and discuss a rude tweet about her, the plants get murdered off-screen.
When Sensei awakes again, he finds himself inside a deprecated building with Nao in front of him, or so he hopes as he has no recollection on how he got here and she can't answer him.
The events that occurred are identified as an unhandled exception and the world is reset to a prior state where Sensei decided to spend some alone time instead.
