"Wires...and the Concept of Breathing" is an Event for Maki Miyamura. This Event starts an Event Chain.
Upon fulfilling all Requirements, this Event automatically occurs on Saturday Night.

This Event takes place in the following locations:
Sensei wonders about the sentence "Love is in the air" and shares his thoughts on it, comparing love to microorganisms that live in the air, threatening to infect and kill everyone.
In order to calm his nerves, he enters Maki's shop in order to find something to distract himself. While Maki is happy to serve him and exchanges some morbid jokes with him, Haruka takes the role of the serious adult and recommends he should go home and get some sleep instead, but he informs her that he's already doing this for most of his day. Both offer their support to help him deal with his misery so he can move foreard, but he declines as he just wants to stay in stasis to prevent making things worse.
This makes both women wonder what Ami is doing, as both heard about her threat to the class, and Sensei tells them about her current situation and deteriorating mental state, which is not helped by the fact that Sensei has to be a parent for her when he has no clue how to be one. Haruka suggests he talks with Sara due to her being a good mother overall, but her attempts to give him further advice is suddenly interrupted by an invitation from Maki for a camping trip.
While Sensei is confused by the sudden invitation, Maki explains that she and her friends want to use the great weather to unwind a bit during a camping trip into the forest. Both women feel that bringing him and Ami with them would be helpful, especially since Sara, who might be the best person to aid in Ami's recovery, will be with them. However, Sensei thinks this won't happen, because Ami wants to stay in her room and, therefore, will never agree to this, but Maki and Haruka are positive about her agreeing to accompany them as long as he tries to ask her.
Sensei falls silent and thinks about their offer. While he would never go camping on his own accord, he does believe it would help Ami get better, which is his biggest priority right now, and would allow him to take a step into the right direction in being a parent. At the end, he agrees to at least ask her, and while he's unsure on how it ends, Maki and Haruka already act like she has agreed to come with them.
While leaving Maki's shop, Sensei bumps into Makoto. After a short conversation in which he confirms that she won't accompany them on the trip, Sensei asks Makoto to look out for Ayane while he's gone, since she has no other person to talk to about certain things. After short personal talk, Sensei leaves her with the prospect of calling her at some point.
