Ami finds her crying near the temple building, and during the next conversation, Maya tries to downplay her situation while Ami tries to comfort her, all of which is commented on by an unseen narrator, as they portray Ami as a saint while belittling Maya. Ami suggests they spend Halloween together, especially since no one would want her at the party, but when Maya asks her if she would abandon her for [[Niki]] as well, she takes a seat next to Maya so she can take a break leaning on her. | |||
After some more comments on Ami and Maya by the narrator, Ami decides to address Maya's hatred for the Nakayama sisters. Maya admits she made her feelings too obvious and is still wondering why Ami hasn't punished her for it yet, but Ami reveals she already knows about them and what she and Sensei do behind her back. After overcoming the shock of being caught and seeing how well Ami takes it, Maya explains how their relationship came to be and how it's falling apart now that Niki moved in with them. Ami also reveals how she dislikes their new living situation, though she can hide it pretty well, even admitting she's aware of how she behaves. | |||
Ami then asks if Maya wants to wait for things to become better or if she wants to take action and help her kidnap Sensei so they can have him for themselves. While Maya is initially hesitant to agree due to some of the things Ami reveals about them and her backup plan, she ends up agreeing to help her. | |||
