On his way home, Sensei thinks about approaching Ami about the camping trip he was invited to along with her, and how hard it will be to convince her. As he arrives at home, he remembers something which leads him to a tangent on the topic of doors before entering Ami's bedroom.
Sensei addresses their current living situation and how it can't continue like this. He acknowledges that he's unable to take proper care of her in his current state and wants to take the necessary steps to change into someone who can, but Ami doesn't want him to change since those changes might cause disasters in the future.
After sitting down on her bed, he reaffirms his desire to change for her and uses this to bring up the camping trip they were invited to, albeit frames it to look like they will be camping alone in the woods. Ami is worried since neither of them has any experience, but after arguing on how both of them spending time alone will help them, alleviating some of her worries and guilt, and reassuring that he will stay by her side no matter what happens, Ami agrees to the trip. Sensei leaves without getting into another topic he wanted to talk about, due to having no energy left for that conversation.
The event ends with Ami asking herself something, only to apparently talk with someone only visible to herself.
