Synopsis
After a quick add break, the participants for the cheerleading contest change into their uniforms. Chika, who's wearing a rather unconventional cheerleading uniform, is motivated to do this, but Rin isn't as confident because Chika thinks they need to go for a mature approach to counter their rivals cuteness and Uta's role as a freestyle master. She feels like this isn't her style and how she can't compete with Chika in that area, even when Chika tries to encourage her to be more confident with her body. Both are still surprised to see Yasu competing, though they have to admit how she's surprisingly cute right now.
Meanwhile, Uta has to encourage Yasu as well, who's embarrassed by wearing her cheerleading uniform due to it being too revealing for her to wear outside of a transference. Uta is interested in what the transference is, and after getting a quick summary of the respective roles of men and women in it, Uta tells her to never repeat this information to any man and let them transfer their light in a different way. Suddenly, Chika hugs Uta due to Rin being rebellious, an action that embarrasses Uta, but Rin tells her she will participate, albeit with the proper uniform, and asks her to stop sabotaging their rivals, at which point she leaves Uta alone. Yasu notes how Uta is yearning for the light right now, and she confirms it.
Back on the field, Imani thanks the girls for getting prepared, as well as thanking Chika for changing into the proper uniform instead of going for the unconventional outfit which was a trap. She explains that they will let the first floor go first and how Wakana will help them decide who came up with the more convincing performance despite the fact that both teams had next to no time to prepare, blaming the lack of planing on Rika to safe face.
During the upcoming discussion, it's revealed that Imani hasn't been with someone in seven years, and a shocked Rika tries to get her someone, much to her annoyance as she doesn't need help with this. Wakana disagrees with her as she can't be with one of the women in her friend group without disrupting their dynamic and only has very few options for men, and while Sensei is the most logical one, he refuses to get closer with her out of fear of losing her, a fact that makes Imani jealous as she's seemingly the only one in their group with this limitation.
The first floor starts, but the they can't get a decent performance going due to Rin not being fully committed to their act and her inability to come up with a good follow-up to Chika's cheers, giving up after a few failed attempts. The second floor takes over, and while they also have a slow start due to Yasu being stuck in her usual preachy ways, she adapts quickly and uses her belief to make solid follow-ups to Uta's cheers. However, neither Imani or Rika saw their performances due to them being to busy bickering about Imani's non-existent love life, but fortunately, Wakana was paying close attention and names the second floor as the obvious winner.
As the contest comes to a close, Uta tells the class that Yasu has a message for them, and, with some guidance from Touka, Yasu confesses how she wants to teach them about her belief in an appropriate manner and proclaims her wish to befriend them.
