Tsubasa Affection
This Event takes place in the following locations:
Sensei is driven home in Tsubasa's limousine, which places him in an intimidating place with an intimidating person, with the latter being his bigger concern.
Tsubasa notices his discomfort and tries to assure him they will be fine, but he tells her that past experiences aren't forgotten by simple encouragements. She recommends seeing things under different circumstances, like how he looks more appealing now than he did inside the bar while he was behind the counter with Sara. He asks why she finds this noteworthy when she has experienced girls being sold to men, however Tsubasa has more experience with the "cattle" rather than the "farmer".
He states how his relationship with Sara isn't like that since he cares for her, something he can't say about Tsubasa, which she finds laughable because he can only say that due to him not knowing her yet, and vice versa. He feels like there's nothing left to learn about him after she found out his true name, whereas she's a complete enigma, and while he learned something about her on a few occasions, he still has no clue what she wants from him. She reminds him that he's both an asset for her plans and a personal friend, but he points out how she doesn't treat him like a one. She admits she doesn't, though excuses it with her position – She's a woman from high society who rarely leaves that space, so she needs to keep her relationships with people from the outside world on the down-low to safe her reputation.
Sensei was reminded of her high standing after she belittled Sara and hurt her feelings, but Tsubasa retorts that him dating her while having multiple relationships will hurt Sara more than some insults, though when he assumes she already knows how many girls he's seeing, she lets that possibility open and might use it when he continues to give her that attitude. When she calls him by his old nickname, he demands she never mentions that name again, but when she begs him to tell her that again in a more threatening manner, he refuses, fearing he might be killed if he attempted it, and just asks her to stop calling him that, which increases her interest in him even more as she lays one of her hands on his legs.
While Sensei has a hard time processing her behavior towards him, he wants to know how her life would be if she never met him, considering the only reason he's a part of her and her daughters' life is due to their coincidental meeting at the onsen, but Tsubasa believes they would've run into each other at some point, because they were destined to meet. However, she struggles to explain it further and drops the subject.
Instead, she allows him to ask her a personal question, and he wants to know the craziest thing she ever did. While she picks giving him the number of her youngest daughter as an obvious choice, he wants something similar to what happened at the bar. She tells him about a "common ritual" before her wedding, which turns out to be more intense than Sensei imagined, though such pleasures are basically impossible for her now, revealing that she interacted more with him than with her own husband. She also reveals an equally extreme situation when she sneaked into the city, but then lets it open if any of those two scenarios are true or not.
Sensei wonders why she told him a possibly false story about her – Because hearing about her supposed weakness gave him a boost of confidence to grab her invasive hand in defiance, but since she's still the same woman she was before, she's more powerful than him, showing him how different information and viewpoints change our perception of things, which is why gathering all kind of experiences is important to differentiate reality from illusions.
With this, the journey comes to an end, and when Sensei enters his room, he acknowledges that he can never understand her.
