Sensei wants to leave the room after the following conversation makes him even more uncomfortable, but Chinami asks him to wash her hair again but without him having to come into the bath, which he ends up doing. While he washes her hair, Chinami teases him the entire time, with Sensei fighting the urge to drown her.

Synopsis

Inside the bathroom, Chinami is taking a bath while Sensei sits on the edge of the bathtub with his back to her, attempting not to do anything he will regret. While he already was in a similar situation before, this time is different due to Chika not being with them and him being less trustworthy now. Chinami notices his discomfort and wonders if her being a girl is the reason for this, with Sensei retorting that he wishes she would stop asking questions like this. She doesn't think she will since she wants to learn everything she can, and when Sensei wishes she would stop making statements like this as well, she asks why it's wrong for her to be curious about love.

She reveals that she's aware of the situation between him, Chika and Yumi, and also knows about what they do, even if she doesn't understand it yet. She wishes she could, but when she goes on for too long, Sensei shuts her up. She apologizes for making him mad, but he isn't mad and just wants her to talk with her sister about this. She can't, though, because it would show her that Chinami is growing up, and she has to stay how she is to keep her sister happy.

She then asks who of the three in their family he likes the most, and when he picks Chika, she's happy he picked the right choice, but wonders why Chika would be upset about him liking Yumi in a similar way. Sensei tells her she should know what defines love by now since she's watching TV all the time, but that is why she's confused, because she saw multiple definitions of love on TV and all of them are treated as being equally right. She wonders if that means that relationships are meant for people who have the same definition, with Sensei pointing out she figured out why he has problems with Chika right now, revealing that Chika thought they had the same definition when his last visit was him confessing they didn't.

With this, Chinami understands Sensei is trapped in some sort of love triangle with Chika and Yumi, with Sensei admitting he is, though adds that this triangle is part of a bigger, more complex shape. During this, Sensei asks her to call him by his real name, but she refuses without a clear reason.

He notes on how she's a weird girl, but also bearable when she doesn't ask for things that make him uncomfortable, only for her to ask him to come into the bath and wash her hair. He tells her he won't do it, and she jokingly claims he might have ulterior motives for her, but quickly realizes she went too far with her joke. Sensei wants to leave the room after the following conversation makes him even more uncomfortable, but Chinami asks him to wash her hair again but without him having to come into the bath, which he ends up doing. While he washes her hair, Chinami teases him the entire time, with Sensei fighting the urge to drown her.

Suddenly, Chika comes home, having left work early, and sees Sensei washing Chinami's hair. Being questioned by her, Sensei wants to explain himself, but Chika was just caught off-guard by how adorable this scene was and wants to join them. While she leaves the bath to get a change of clothes, Sensei decides to get out while he still can.
