It's Halloween again, and Imani gives the class some instructions regarding the Halloween party and answers some questions, including their behavior towards Sensei and Ami, the latter will return to class the following week. Once she's done, Futaba approaches her and wants to know if she heard anything from her parents, since she's still unable to reach them, but Imani hasn't and offers her support, but Futaba says she doesn't need any additional help yet.
The rest of the event moves between different groups of girls:
Uta has trouble making her bangs fit the costume she specifically picked to impress Sensei, and Io tries to encourage her to not overthink it and be herself, which Uta refuses and instead asks for her help fixing her looks.
Rin is staying next to Chika and Kirin, which is rather challenging for her since both seemingly ignore one of Imani's rules. Kirin tries to flirt with her, but Chika acts as a gatekeeper and Rin rejects her since she isn't into the character Kirin is dressed at, especially since Kirin doesn't has the figure to pull it off properly. Chika and Rin leave shortly after, and while they decide to take Futaba along, Kirin is swiftly excluded from their plans.
Molly, Tsuneyo and Touka discuss Tsuneyo's costume and one of her recently discovered traits, until Yasu joins them. Molly notices that Yasu seems off, and she explains that the Tsukioka family is financing her psychological therapy, which includes medication that allows her to finally heal and be herself. Molly doesn't like this "healed" Yasu one bit, and Touka absolutely agrees with her due to how miserable Yasu feels, especially since the only trait she kept is her self-loathing. Touka intends to speak with her mother about it, and Molly supports that decision.
Otoha is trying to talk with Nodoka via phone, since she's currently going through another creative phase in their dorm room. Otoha wants to know if she will attend their party, but she has more important things to figure out, and while Otoha tries to convince her to take a break, she's unsuccessful.
