Synopsis

Before she can, Ayane asks Sensei if he can explain to her what happened last night. While Maya tries to move on, Sensei reveals that they almost kissed, which confuses Ayane and makes the relationship between Maya and him even more difficult for her to understand.
Once Ayane mentions the Rooftop Apocalypse Squad, Maya uses the opportunity to inform them that another reset will happen soon. This comes as a surprise to Sensei, as they had the last one so recently, but Maya reminds him that, due to the jump from Halloween to Christmas, they’ve lost about two months and as such are “on schedule”. Ayane asks if there are any special preparations that need to take place for this one, with Maya having come up with some ideas over the last several hours.
Confirming with Sensei that both Yumi and Tsuneyo showed signs of being aware of Kumon-mi’s time loops, she wants Sensei to get in touch with both of them and try to talk with them about the loop to see if it’s possible to do so when someone shows awareness of it. Not sure how to deal with them after Sensei talked to them, Ayane comes up with an idea – Sensei should convince Yumi and Tsuneyo to join a slumber party so all five of them can keep eyes on each other during the actual reset. Maya’s hesitant, because if the others do disappear, it’ll be a traumatizing sight for either Sensei or Ayane, but decides to go along regardless.
