After being forced to spend the rest of the school day in his office, Sensei walks home with Ami, Maya, Ayane and Molly in tow. Ami is still surprised by this new event and Maya agreeing to participate despite Sensei being the prize, but Maya only wants to enjoy this completely new event and doesn’t care if she wins him or not. Meanwhile, Molly and Ayane, having rented microphones, try to have an interview with Sensei. He can’t tell them much since he’s still completely in the dark about the contests, only knowing that Ami and Noriko will compete against each other due to them telling him, but assures them he will be impartial when deciding a winner, though he is unsure how genuine this statement is. He follows the girls to the dorm, but is prohibited from entering so he won’t learn more about the competitions before they occur. Having nothing else to do, he decides to go to bed early so he can brace himself for the next two days.
On the second floor of the dorm, Molly interviews the other girls of her floor:
Noriko is confident she can win her contest, feeling that she has an edge due to her being a little sister and her history with Sensei, whereas Kirin assumes she will lose hers but might be able to surprise everyone.
Tsuneyo is confident she can crush her opponent with ease.
Touka refuses to give an interview without consulting an attorney, though gets flustered when Molly asks for her reason for competing in a date contest, while Yasu is unsure what she’s supposed to do and hopes that someone will guide her.
Nodoka boasts about Otoha’s ability to ignore all advances towards her and is sure both will win their respective contest, while Otoha is annoyed by Nodoka touching her and making assumptions about Sensei and her, but makes it clear that she will win tomorrow before leaving.
Uta also feels like she can win her contest with ease despite having no experience in rapping, but is a bit worried about Io ghosting her.
On the first floor, Ayane also interviews the girls of her floor:
Makoto feels like Miku already won her competition, with Miku showing a level of confidence to support that claim, and while she knows that competing against Nodoka will be tough, she still feels like she can win.
Sana, on the other hand, is confused, nervous and insecure about the contest she has to do.
When Rin gets asked if she can take down Otoha, she misunderstands the question at first and refuses to give any answer after this to not humiliate herself further. Futaba herself views the contest as a fun activity, but intends to come up with some strategies so she still wins.
When it’s Chika’s turn, Ayane makes her jealousy known, but Chika assures her she only wanted to ensure an easy win for their floor and allowed spectators to ensure fairness. Ayane thinks Touka has an edge due to her wealth, but Chika doesn’t think Sensei is easily swayed by it.
Maya has a lot of questions about the war and her contest, but thinks she can win despite not getting answers.Ami doesn’t hide her self-confidence and already names herself the victor since it involves Sensei.
Back in his room, Sensei still doesn’t know anything about the contests, including when the first one takes place, and no one bothered to inform him. He is a bit worried by Ami and Noriko competing against each other, but with no information, he decides to wait and see what will happen, and goes to bed.
