Synopsis
After two back-to-back parties, and the emotional landslide at the end of the last, Sensei tries to spend the entire day sleeping in his new apartment. Unfortunately for him, Touka and Makoto arrive to check up on him after his prolonged absence. Happy to see he’s mostly fine, Makoto notices the remnants of his attempts at poetry, trying to pry more information out of him. He refuses to explain himself and begrudgingly gets out of bed, aware that he won’t be getting more sleep today.
As he struggles to wake up, Touka gives him an update on what’s happened since he disappeared. Having decided to cover for him, Touka told the class an important business meeting had forced him to leave before the end of the night. While this excuse still resulted in nearly half the class forming a search party, he's happy to hear it wasn’t as chaotic as it could’ve been. Sensei thanks Touka for her help, and similarly thanks Makoto for always doing his clerical work.
He excuses himself, following up with Maya from the other night via phone call. She’s reluctant to speak about it, justifying herself by saying she was sick. Sensei easily sees through this excuse and tells him to meet up at the park near his place so they can talk - He hangs up before she can say no. Unbeknownst to him, Maya is currently with Ayane and drags her along.
