Tsuneyo brings her monologue to a close and, because no one understood what her point was, states that she would be happy if all of them could meet at the next Christmas party as well. Uta thinks it’s about time they start the gift exchange, but Touka wonders if now is the best time since some of their classmates are missing, while Molly wonders if Sensei will like her again as she lacks confidence. Touka gets excited about receiving a gift, but when Uta asks if the bear she carried around isn’t her gift, she realizes that it’s missing, panics and begs them to help her look for it since she was supposed to watch over it. Uta gives them five minutes before she starts the gift exchange without it.
Yumi approaches Sana, who immediately gets scared when she notices her. Yumi assures her that she doesn’t want to harm her and that she only wants to know if Yuki is really working at her mother’s bar. After Sana confirms that she’s working there as a bartender, Yumi decides to leave her alone as Uta starts the gift exchange and calls out Touka for being untrustworthy. Sensei, who already took the bear, assures Touka that it isn’t lost and decides to look for Miku, but he’s stopped by Molly.
Molly hands him a gift and Sensei is “surprised” that her hypothetical scenario turned out to be true. He wants to open it, but Molly thinks it would be embarrassing if he tries it on now. He’s worried that she made him a cosplay costume, but she assures him that, while it’s a piece of clothing, it’s only a small thing for the approaching summer. He asks her if she doesn’t find it strange that summer’s coming shortly after Christmas. She realizes that it is, but her train of thought is interrupted by a drunk Nodoka. Because she makes things weird by mentioning what happened before and complimenting Rin’s attractiveness, which manages to cheer her up, both Sensei and Molly decide to leave.
Sensei wants to find Miku, but he gets stopped by Imani, who complains about not receiving a gift, forgetting that she joined the class after the preparations for the exchange were made, and asks if he can buy her something, but he refuses to do that. He makes his way to Makoto and finds her crying over a painting Touka gave her. The painting is worth one million Yen and she doesn’t know what to do with something this valuable. Sensei asks her where he can find Miku and Makoto, after seeing the bear, asks him if he thinks that she would enjoy it. He explains that he doesn’t care if she would enjoy it and accepts her reaction once he hands it to her, but stops when he notices Makoto’s gloomy face. She tells him that she left and was probably looking for a quiet place near the hotel. Sensei thanks her and leaves the room.
