Synopsis
Upon realizing Maya's not here, Sensei immediately gives into his pessimism, grieving for her apparent 'death'. Ayane, unsure of what's going on, nervously tries to reassure him, before telling him that she'd appreciate some comfort considering how overwhelming the situation is.
The two take a seat near a planter, and Sensei continues to stew in his self-doubt. Ayane continues to reassure Sensei, asking him what'd he change if they have to redo their lives, and pondering just how important Maya is to him. Slowly, she's able to help him crawl out of his stump, and the two decide to search around Kumon-mi for Maya instead of waiting for her.
