On the other side of the cafe Ayane enjoys feeding her “girlfriend” while Maya curses her for using her weakness, yet still lets her feed her. Maya claims that it’s revolting how Ayane treats her but that it could be worse, looking at Sensei and Ami while saying that. Ayane wonders when he will remember that it’s Ami’s birthday, to which Maya points out the she even gave him a hint when he visited the shrine. Maya wonders what Ayane sees in a man with no good qualities, to which Ayane replies that it must be the same thing she sees in him. Maya claims that she is confusing her with someone else, as she doesn’t want anything to do with him. Ayane agrees that she was wrong and finishes her thoughts by hoping that Sensei remembers Ami’s birthday next year.
