Miku Maruyama is part of the Main Cast of in Lessons In Love. She is one of the 10 original main cast girls.

Background

Miku is the captain of school's soccer team and shares the dorm room 3 with Makoto. She is very passionate about sports, but not so much about her remaining studies, resulting in her poor grades before the Sensei's alteration.

Characteristics

Miku is extremely passionate about soccer, which she puts above anything else. This results in her often scolding her teammates for slacking off, especially Kirin. Although she is rather friendly with all girls and Sensei, she, just like Ami, absolutely hates comments about small breasts and instantly goes into rage-mode if someone addresses the size of her chest. She is also afraid of sudden loud noises (like a soccer ball striking the door of the storage room, a thunder or a fallen wardrobe) and immediately suffers a breakdown in these situations.

Relationships

Sensei

Miku has a friendly relationship with Sensei and immediately recruits him as the new head coach of the soccer team. From time to time, she also persuades him into physical activities, like jogging with her. However, as she has no sexual experience, she is very nervous around Sensei whenever the conversation is heading in this direction, and stops Sensei from moving their relationship further in several cases.

Makoto

Makoto is Miku's roommate and she occasionally helps her with studying. Although the two girls don't have much in common, they share a friendly relationship, with Miku respecting Makoto as a superior in some cases. However, it is shown that she fears Makoto from time to time as she knows about the relationship between her and Sensei and worries about the consequences if Makoto learns about her (very rare) romantic interactions with Sensei.

Futaba

There are not many interactions between the two, but Miku is very envious of Futaba due to the size of her breasts, as shown in David & Goliath.

Karin

Karin is Miku's teammate and serves as the assistant captain. Thanks to that, she and Miku share an incredibly strong relationship with each other, centering all their conversations around soccer and the team.

Kirin

Miku's relationship with Kirin shows some ups and downs as Miku respects Kirin as her teammate, but occasionally scolds her for not trying hard enough on practices and for her open flirting with Sensei in front of her.
