Synopsis

Inside the gym, Miku gives a speech to Makoto, Ayane, Sana, and Futaba regarding the upcoming Dorm Wars/Sports Day. Since they can't use their close bonds with Sensei as an advantage and have some serious competition from some of the second floor girls when it come to physical activities, Miku wants to prepare everyone to give them a better chance, especially since they still don't know the competitions yet. Makoto is a bit surprised by Miku's competitive spirit even though the prize is also unknown, and Miku explains that bragging rights are always on the line in these games.

She then tries to figure out the individual strengths of the girls. Futaba is only good with mental tasks, so Miku thinks she should be their coach and plan some strategies for every sport after the meeting, with Makoto promising to help her with this. Miku already knows that Sana's strength is video games, so she decides to use her as a secret weapon due to her excellent hand-eye coordination and demands she keeps her energy level high. Ayane wonders what her role will be due to her having multiple strengths, and Miku assigns her the role of a ringer, the same role she has, and will suggest her for other games that need a good athlete. Ayane also asks Miku to reconsider Sana's role as their secret weapon, but Miku refuses.

Next, Miku tries to explain every sport that might be part of the Sports day to them, but Makoto calls it a day and sends everyone off to get a shower, much to Miku's annoyance. She reminds her that Miku only asked for ten minutes and that her time is almost up, so she relents and finishes her speech, only for Makoto to prevent her from using her whistle, as Miku forgot for a moment that she has phonophobia.

In the showers, Makoto asks if Miku is really that excited to participate, and she confirms she is despite Sensei not being there or their prize. She mentions that she hasn't seen him since they parted ways at the karaoke bar, and when Makoto wants to know about it, she explains that they met Karin and went to the karaoke bar, but she had to leave before they could sing a single song. She also noticed how Sensei was feeling off then, but when she assumes it was due to him and Makoto using that booth to spend some time together, Makoto assures her that Sensei and she only visited the bar once, which ended weird. She herself has no idea why he didn't want to do karaoke with Miku and Karin, but thinks he'll overcome the reason for it soon.

They switch the topic to their respective therapies and how Makoto seems happier now. She admits she is, or at least feels more "free" now that she doesn't worry about the future as much as she used to, though Miku feels like this could be a dangerous thing if she decides to ignore her future entirely. Finally, Miku asks if Makoto is really not bothered by Sensei not being with them, and while she confirms that she actually is, she doesn't see a need to rush things anymore. Miku reminds her that someone else might move past her if she stays stationary for too long and is happy to hear that Makoto won't hold it against her if that person will be her.

The conversation ends when Miku's lack of a filter ruins things.
