There is a classroom, somewhere beneath Heaven, that smells of dirty laundry and where no light can reach. [[Sensei]] tries to move around, but finds that he has become a shadow, and is unable to do anything at all. In front of him, a [[Maya|familiar girl]] appears, speaking to him in a language he can't understand. Sensei wishes she'd turn around and face him, so he can properly identify her as the real Maya, or the version of her with static in her eyes -- It's this second version that often terrifies him, as the static is filled with memories of thousands of lives the two have yet to live together. The girl tells him to step closer if he wishes to speak "in his own language". | |||
