An important part of the narrative in [[Lessons in Love]] are the hexcodes following a lot of the [[Events]] and being apparant in the [[Locations|Rooms]].

=== Hexadecimal ===
Beside binary code consisting of 8 bit (0 and 1), the integer system "Hexadecimal" describes numbers ranging from 0 to 15, totalling 16 numbers.

4 Bit instruct exactly one hexadecimal number.<br>
For example:
  0000 ==  0; 
  0010 ==  2;
  1000 ==  8;
  1111 == 15;

Considering ASCII (,,American Standard Code for Information Interchange", a defined character set) for this example, text editors are instructed to translate 1 byte (8 bit) into a character per definition.
